These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Camping Trek website and any trek, expedition, or service booked through us. By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
A booking is only confirmed once we have received the required deposit or full payment, and you have received a written confirmation from us. Prices displayed on our website are per person unless otherwise stated and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
For treks and expeditions booked on a fixed itinerary, full payment must be received according to the schedule outlined at the time of booking, typically no later than 60 days before departure for treks and 90 days for expeditions.
You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to undertake the trek or expedition you book. We strongly recommend a medical check-up before any high-altitude trip. You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your ability to safely participate.
Comprehensive travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking or mountaineering, emergency medical treatment, and helicopter evacuation up to the maximum altitude of your itinerary is mandatory for all bookings. Proof of insurance must be provided before departure.
You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport with at least six months' validity and any required visas. We handle trekking and climbing permit applications on your behalf as part of your booking.
While we make every effort to operate itineraries as published, routes, accommodation, and schedules may be altered due to weather, political conditions, government regulations, or safety concerns. Our guides and expedition leaders have final authority over any changes made for safety reasons, and no refund is owed for changes made under these circumstances.
Our guides and expedition leaders have the authority to withdraw any participant from a trek or expedition, at any stage, if in their reasonable judgment continuing poses a safety risk to that individual or the group. This decision is final and not subject to appeal during the trip itself.
Trekking and mountaineering in the Himalaya carry inherent risks including but not limited to altitude sickness, extreme weather, avalanche, rockfall, and remote medical emergencies. By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Camping Trek's liability for any claim arising from your booking is limited to the amount paid for that specific booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, pandemic-related restrictions, civil unrest, or airline disruptions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these terms or your booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
